OH HAPPY DAY at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital when it received US$32,000 of equipment destined for the Pediatric Cardio Centre serving the northern sector of Ghana and beyond our borders as part of a total of a US$385,000.00 project.

And the timing couldn’t be better for the Kumasi East Rotary Club! Present was the District Governor of Rotary District Simon Kafando from Burkina Faso  who presented the equipment to the hospital. Incidentally, District 9100 is the largest of 522 districts worldwide comprising of 14 countries in the sub-Saharian region of West Africa.

During the dinner that evening, D.G. of District 9100 congratulated Kumasi East on their support of  K.A.T.H. He informed all present that he had visited 18 of the  22 Rotary Clubs in Ghana and Kumasi East was the first club to organize an activity in the community it supports.
