MARCH 27 CULTURAL DAY-BE THERE

Charity and I will host the CANADA TABLE at the Francophone Cultural Day as part of THE FRANCOPHONE WEEK CELEBRATIONS sponsored by the Alliance Francaise of Kumasi. The event takes place on Saturday, March 27 at the Kumasi Lebanon Club (Bantama/KATH area) from 11 am to 6 pm.

Food planned: baked beans and real maple syrup, French Canadian tortiere (meat pie) and poutine. What’s poutine? It’s a lethal concoction of cheese curds, chicken or beef sauce and French Fries (a.k.a. chips)

Brain activities: Play FACT/FICTION/MYTH For example: Ottawa is the capital of Canada-FACT; the Rocky Mountains are in Eastern Canada-FICTION; and “Ghanaians in Canada enjoy the sweet life”-MYTH.
Point to….on a map of Canada contestants will be asked to point to various provinces, cities, bodies of water etc.
Paragraph: Write a paragraph about why you would like to migrate to Canada or NOT!

Note: I’ve been talking up the event but it is surprising just how many people are off ‘FUNERALING‘-Yes a new word and you read it here on MADINGHANA.
