TWO MORE REVIEWS ON TRIP ADVISOR-WOW! NO, DOUBLE WOW!

1.AN OASIS: April 26, 2010

Four villages Inn is an experience of character and culture like I’ve had at no other hotel or bed and breakfast. Entering the door to a warm welcome by Chris and an overwhelmingly delicious four-course meal prepared by Charity, while we wet and dripping from slogging through a tropical rainstorm, was surreal. The decor around their lovely home is exquisite and proudly Ghanaian, the atmosphere is peaceful, the service is attentive, flexible, personalized, and the food is out-of-this-world good no matter what continent you may be on. Perks we really enjoyed (all free!) were the astoundingly extensive DVD library, the packed bookshelves open for perusing, the trip to the nearby brass-casting village and a tour by the head craftsman, and the unlimited wireless internet and “business center” (computer, scanner, printer… I actually was in the middle of signing contracts for purchasing my first property back in the states, and Four Villages’ unlimited support was invaluable). Chris and Charity have decades of experience in both Ghana and Canada and can provide much stimulating conversation and observations about the goings-on outside Four Villages’ doors. Staying at Four Villages feels like a superb mixture of being pampered and being at home with family. Highly recommended.

2. A HOME FROM HOMEApril 24

We appreciated the interest and support Chris showed in our trip to Kumasi which involved visiting NGOs’ working with street children. His insight into Ghana and how things work was fascinating.
Charity’s home cooking was a very welcome change from restaurant food – her desert was particularly good – a real treat

MADINGHANA: How validating all this is…time to post something…… different….grant me the wisdom to know the difference and suffer the little children to come unto me…
