FACEBOOK IS FABULOUS!
Not only is it great for promoting a business, it can also push democracy by informing us about our own reality. AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT? IT IS A WHOLE LOT QUIETER IN THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD. HARDLY A PEEP FROM GINA’S KITCHEN/BAR ACROSS THE ROAD. LENGTH OF PROTEST: ONE AND A HALF YEARS, BUT WE WON -at least for now…and the article above was published at the end of May….HOPE LIVES!

2. AND YOU CAN PUSH DEMOCRACY-I have 810 friends in a group called KUMASI.INFO. A lot of the news items are culled from the national press and have little to do with Kumasi….anyways…there can be some pretty controversial items that you would think would prompt comments. NEVER!
