Freedom @ Four Villages

HarperCollins in the UK has publisher’s block. Maybe they should have been wearing earplugs and blindfolds. Apparently, a typesetter sent the wrong draft for printing and 8,000 copies had to be recalled since the draft was rife with spelling and punctuation errors.
Anyways, fellow bloggers, it can happen to the best of them. Reassuring, isn’t it?

Anyways, funny that this item should appear worldwide in newspapers on Sunday, October 3, 2010…on that very day our copy of Freedom, the so-called novel of the 21st c, arrived here at Four Villages Inn.

A big thank you goes to Dick and Susie Kiphart from Chicago who are back at Four Villages Inn for the fifth time! We must be doing something right!

Dick and Susie sure are! They have been featured in two editions of the VILLAGE NEWS. Click on Four Villages on the blogroll, then on the VILLAGE NEWS and go to Edition 15 for an item entitled “ The Kipharts Return to Four Villages” dated May 28, 2008 and from Edition 11 “Say Hi to Bono for Us” dated February 6, 2006.

Now that must piqued your curiosity….

Yes, 17 editions of our VILLAGE NEWS appeared on the Four Villages Inn web site before the madinghana blog took over.

Give us a gander at http://www.fourvillages and see what we mean by ‘MUCH, MUCH MORE THAN JUST A PLACE TO STAY’.

And incidentally, if you also wanted to take a gander at our copy of “Freedom”, it’s flawless. And, oh yes, great that Oprah and Jonathan have reconciled their differences. “Freedom” is Oprah’s 2010 Selection for her Book Club.
