Does anybody else find these images disturbing?
The N.G.O. is irrelevant-wish I could blank out the details.
Just multiple this scenario thousands of times and ask yourself the question, “What message does this send out to the youth of Ghana?”
I have a development worker friend who says, “I won’t do something that a Ghanaian can do.”
Really, N.G.O.s must rethink their implementation strategies if they are here to promote proactive independent thinking in young people.
To be frank, I find present approaches paralysing and crippling….Anyways, maybe all would understand, “God helps those who help themselves.”
What do you think?
