Note: Maya Angelou spent three years here in Ghana in the early 60’s and wrote a memoir of her experiences here called “ALL GOD’S CHILDREN NEED TRAVELLING SHOES. Here is the Wikipedia entry on the book.

Maya Angelou’s All God’s Children Need Traveling Shoes

It’s a great book which I highly recommend. Hey, ya can read it over a couple of days staying at FOUR VILLAGES INN, KUMASI, GHANA.

Incidentally, did I ever want to write more to Maya but not very appropriate for the occasion…

What would you write to Maya regarding her grandson coming to Ghana with his International business degree? Please feel free to comment.
