Now there are two signboards…madinghana’s proactive effort which you’ll see first on the right hand side of the road. See post.
and then this brand new sign again on the right hand side of the road across from the Oforikrom Police Station. This signboard, has finally been erected long after the other three signs at this important intersection were put up. Needless to say, madinghana protested its absence…
Here you will turn left and head in the direction of Asokwa. But stay on this dual carriageway which for some reason…..funnels into a single lane road just before the Ahodwo (Georgia) Roundabout.
At the roundabout, turn left and stay on Melcom Road ( named after an Indian chain store which you will pass) for 2.8 km. In some guides, this road is called The Old Bekwai Road.
You will pass through the village of Ahodwo. Then you will reach a Unity Oil petrol (gas) station followed by two speed bumps.
Immediately after the second speed bump, turn right into a small lane and you are at FOUR VILLAGES INN.
