Well, the latest hot topic in Ghana is whether or not Ghana will accept hosting the CAN 2015 football competition in January 2015 given the fact Morocco has declined to host the tournament given the current Ebola crisis plaguing West Africa.
To think that three months ago Ghana banned international conferences hurting the tourism industry dramatically.
Well that ban was broken when the Government of Ghana held a conference with IMF officials to start the IMF bailout discussions and now the Government is hosting a conference involving a large number of personnel from the UN Mission for Ebola Emergency Response UNMEER
Incidentally, the ban on conferences expires at the end of October. I wonder if the ban will be lifted. Do you have an opinion?
